Shoe care guide
How to take care of your leather shoes?
In order to keep your leather shoes for longer , it is important to clean them regularly to maintain their shine and to avoid too much damage to them.
Whatever the model of shoe, ankle boots with heels, sandals or leather pumps,
it requires special maintenance to protect the leather.
The longevity of a shoe's life depends above all on its maintenance!
1.
Moisturize and wax smooth leather regularly
For the maintenance of your smooth leather shoes, it is advisable to wax them regularly.
Before waxing, dust your shoes with a chamois cloth and clean them with a damp cloth. Don't forget to clean the sole and heel as well. To preserve the shape of the shoe and for convenience during maintenance, you can use wooden shoe trees.
2.
Waterproof suede leather
For suede or suede leather, consider waterproofing it before using them the first time and feeding them at least twice per season.
This protects them from rain and dirt for much longer.
Revive the color with a quality cleaning spray and special for chamois skin. Once applied, they should be left to sit for about an hour.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
For their cleaning, a suede brush or a suede eraser is sufficient.
3.
Shine patent leather
To preserve the shine of your patent leather shoes, use special or silicone-based sprays and forget about polishes or other waterproofing agents. Polish your varnished shoes with a damp cloth with a little white vinegar. They will shine brightly!
